Project Description

20th Century Studios released Free Guy in theaters on August 13, 2021. It was the first film from Walt Disney Studios during the COVID-19 pandemic released exclusively to theaters for 45 days before releasing on streaming services. 

In Free Guy, a bank teller discovers he is actually a background player (NPC) in an open-world video game, and decides to become the hero of his own story. This happens when he puts on glasses for the very first time. Glasses are what allow him to access the games controls and see his world through the first-person player's point of view.

We highlighted Zenni's product and offerings by leaning into the first-person perspective and the idea of opening a new world of options with better and more affordable glasses.
